How does Express Entry work?
Express Entry is an online system introduced by the Canadian government in 2015 which is used to manage Canadian permanent residency applications under three federal economic immigration programs. It allows people to submit a profile and be considered as a skilled immigrant. Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to apply for permanent residency.

You need documents, such as language test results, to show that you’re eligible for Express Entry. Some documents take a long time to get, so you should get them ready now.
Submit your profile
Your Express Entry profile is where you give us information about yourself. If you’re eligible, we’ll accept you into our pool of candidates. You’ll be ranked in the Express Entry pool using a points-based system. Your score is based on the information in your profile.
Canadian permanent residency applications under three federal economic immigration programs:-
Federal Skilled Worker
This program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently.
Federal Skilled Trades
The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade.
Canadian Experience Class
The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents
