Study in Canada has been one of the favorite destinations for students across the globe. According to a report, the Indian students ranked on the second position on the basis of the number of students that migrate every year to study in Canada for getting the high quality education.
 

Currently 3 types of visas are granted for study in Canada to international students:-

  1. SDS System
  2. Non-SDS system
  3. University System

 

1. Student Profile Requirements for SDS

     Minimum Qualifications:-  After 12th or Diploma

  • Board PSEB+CBSE both are accepted
  • Marks  – minimum 60% not less than 50% each subject
  • Bands – 6 bands not less than 6
  • Gap  –   2 year gap is accepted

  

     For Graduation under SDS

  • Marks – minimum 50%
  • Bands – 6.5 not less than 6
  • Bands – 6 not less than 6 also acceptable in some cases.
  • Gap    – 3 to 4 year gap is accepted with valid experience

 

2. Requirements for Non-SDS

       Minimum Qualification:- After 12th or Diploma

  • Board PSEB+CBSE both are accepted
  • Marks  – minimum 50% not less than 50% each subject
  • Bands – 6 bands not less than 5.5 .
  • Gap  –   2 year gap is accepted

 

 

3. University student requirements

  • Marks – Minimum 50% (For Yorkville) Rest 60% For other universities.
  • Bands – 6/5.5 for Yorkville rest 6 in each for other university.
  • Gap – 2 Years gap accepted after +2 and up to 5 years after graduation with valid experience.

 

      For Graduation under University

  • Marks – minimum 60%
  • Bands – 6 not less than 6  acceptable
  • Gap    – 3 to 4 year gap is accepted with valid experience

 

Important: —  For Study in Canada only GIC required for SDS. But for non sds funds is required (10-15 lakh)
